- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address through our authentication provider, Clerk.
- Chat & Conversation Data: We store your chat threads, messages, queries, and conversation history to provide and improve the Service.
- Uploaded Documents: Files and documents you upload are stored and processed to deliver search, analysis, and OCR features.
- Usage Data: We collect usage metrics including request counts, feature usage, and associated costs to manage your account, enforce usage limits, and improve the Service.
- Cookies: We use cookies strictly for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To manage your account, process payments, and enforce usage limits.
- To process your queries and uploaded documents, including by sending them to third-party AI and document-processing services (see Section 3).
- To communicate with you about your account, billing, or the Service.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We share data with the following categories of third-party service providers, solely as necessary to operate the Service:
- AI Processing (Google):Your queries and relevant document content may be sent to Google's AI services to generate responses. Data sent to AI providers is subject to their respective privacy policies.
- Cloud Infrastructure (AWS): We use Amazon Web Services for hosting, data storage, and document processing (including Amazon Textract for OCR). All data is stored in the US-South (Dallas, TX) region.
- Authentication (Clerk): Clerk handles user authentication and stores account credentials on our behalf.
- Payment Processing (Stripe): Stripe processes payment transactions. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on servers located in Dallas, Texas, USA. We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Request a portable copy of your data.

8. AI-Processed Data
The Service uses artificial intelligence to process your queries and documents. When you submit a query or upload a document, relevant content may be sent to third-party AI providers for processing. We do not use your data to train AI models. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate or incomplete and should not be relied upon as professional, legal, or financial advice.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
